UN Women: Individual Consultant to provide administrative support to WEE Programme



UN Women Moldova Country Office is hiring an individual  consultant to fto provide administrative support to Women Economic Empowerment Programme.

Post Level: similar to SB3.2

The Consultant is expected to carry out the following tasks:

  • Provide overall administrative and logistic support in accordance with UN Women rules, regulations, policies, and strategies;
  • Provide operational guidance and administrative support to the responsible/implementing parties on project implementation and narrative and financial reporting to UN Women;
  • Maintain communication with various stakeholders, Programme’s partners, and beneficiaries.
  • Draft solicitation documents (Request for Quotations, ITBs or RFPs), participate in receipt of quotations, bids or proposals and draft preliminary evaluation; draft packages for contract issuance and payment processing;
  • Maintain communication with vendors upon contract signature, coordinate delivery of good/services, maintain records on receipt and distribution of goods, ensure proper documentation of processes, monitor contractors’ performance;
  • Provide overall administrative and logistic support in organizing events including but not limited to meetings, conferences, workshops, trainings, inside and outside of the country travels as it may be required;
  • Organize, compile, and archive/upload to internal databases documentation on to procurement processes, distribution of goods and other related processes; maintain filing system ensuring safekeeping of confidential materials;
  • Prepare periodic reports on activities done, including financial reports;
  • Draft reports, concept notes, agendas, minutes for events and meetings;
  • Other ad-hoc tasks in line with Programme needs.
