Unsafe to school, unsafe home! (VIDEO)
Annualy worldwide die more than 186,000 children as a result of road accidents and the mortality rate is three times higher in developing countries, in the period 4-10 May 2015, around the world took place the Third UN Global Road safety Week called #SaveKidsLives. The #SaveKidsLives campaing is aimed to highlight the problem of road fatalities among children and to prevent the road crashes around the world. During this week, the Governments, international agencies, NGOs and private companies were engaged in various activities and signing the Child Declaration calling to save children's lives with road safety!

The movie...
... is a story about a group of children from ”Chiril si Metodiu” Lyceum from Chisinau, a litlle boy Laurentiu (the main character) and ACM who worried about their lives and health in road traffic, decided to produce a short movie that elucidates the main risks that children meet in their way to school and back to home. The most dangerous way is public transport!
The main aim of the video entitled ”Unsafe to school, unsafe home” was to show how the road to school and home is unsafe for a child in the Republic of Moldova, to attract atention to child safety on roads of the relevant authorities, adults and the general public.
Video production was supported and funded by the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety and WHO Office in Moldova. Partners: HD Studio, National Inspectorate of Patrolling, Ministry of Health, “Auto-Rapid” Ltd (the biggest maxi-taxi fleet in Chisinau, supporters of ACM and EASST in promoting occupational road safety in Moldovan companies).
Children of the “Chiril si Metodiu” Lyceum in Chisinau were actively involved in developing idea and video making. They themselves made last seconds shooting of the video. The scenario was developed by the ACM partner Nicolai Radiola of the Security School at the Rescue Service Moldova, who worked out the draft scenario together with the children and ACM.
