IT Director

Duties and responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise and coordinate IT projects;
• Coordinate and supervise IT team;
• Oversee all technology operations and functions and evaluate them according to established goals;
• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management;
• Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality, efficiency and security;
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems;
• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs;
• Budget control and expense reporting;
• Coordination of the information security management process;
• Monitoring and control of IT security and personal data protection.

Requirements and Skills:

• University technical IT or management studies;
• MA in computer science or management;
• Knowledge in Cyber Security and Data Protection;
• Knowledge in Telecommunication Networks;
• Previous working experience as IT director/manager for 5 years;
• International experience;
• Experience in massive transaction processing related to utilities / industrial control systems;
• Experience in improvement/re-engineering/optimization of processes;
• Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.;
• Time management and budget control;
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
• Knowledge of English and Spanish (or willingness and abilities to learn Spanish);
• Certifications in Cyber Security, Networking, BD etc. will be considered an advantage.
