Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation in Moldova is pleased to announce an opening for the Junior Project Officer position within the Opportunities through Technologies and Innovation in Moldova (OPTIM) project.
Short information about the project
The project “Opportunities through Technologies and Innovation in Moldova” (OPTIM) is a project financed by Swiss Government, launched in Moldova in 2019 and is currently in the second year of the second Phase. The project aims to support economic development in the Republic of Moldova focusing on Agri-Food sector and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)/Digitalization. It also addresses access to markets, technologies, and finance for private sector growth and skills development for employability and better economic opportunities for the population of Moldova.
The role
The Junior Project Officer assists the Project team in all aspects of project implementation, specifically providing timely support on administrative and logistic matters of the program.
Key Tasks
- Support Programme Implementation Unit (PIU) in the compilation and formatting of program documents.
- Prepare all contracting documents for payments in accordance with internal procurement rules.
- Support preparing, monitoring and reporting on procurement & financial aspect in a timely manner and in compliance with donor and internal procurement regulations;
- Support the Team members in organizing different program initiatives and events;
- Support the DTL and Component Managers in organizing and systemizing the KML processes and documents;
- Support the translation in English/Romanian and Romanian/English;
- Perform any other duties related to the overall project as assigned by the management.

Education and experience
- University degree in a relevant field (economics, business administration or close);
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in similar positions/fields of work.
