Project & PSS Officer for an international NGO

HR-Consulting Srl on behalf of its client - an international NGO, is looking for a highly professional candidate to fulfill the position of Project & PSS Officer.

Location: Moldova, Chisinau

Starting date: Immediate

Working hours: Full time

Contract Duration: till the end of 2024 with the possibility to extend

Reporting to: Emergency Officer (Ukraine Response)

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in coordination between local project partners and stakeholders to the international project leadership and represent the organisation locally.
• Facilitate Psycho-Social-Support [PSS] related activities with our local project partners, with focus on women and children.
• Utilize appropriate PSS and gender related professional material through the guidance of the organisation.
• Operate under the supervision of the project leadership escalate any issue of concern.
• Facilitate data collection and analysis for programs and monitoring evaluation and maintain regular reporting about the implemented work.
• Attend project and organisation group meetings, and visit the HQ in Berlin upon request.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in related non-governmental or humanitarian operation.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in psychosocial support related projects, preferably in low resource/emergency settings and/or with refugees from Ukraine.
• Experience in coordination as advantage.
• Member of Association of Psychologists & Psychotherapists of the Republic of Moldova is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Russian - must, Romanian/Ukrainian as advantage.
• Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
• Team worker and solution oriented.
• Knows how to work independently and dealing well with stress.
