I. Organizational context

CDA is a public association, a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit association registered at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova on 24 February 1997. 

CDA is looking for a qualified person for the vacant position of the child protection specialist for the Implementation Unit within the Ministry of Labor Social Protection and Family. This is a full - time (100%) until 31 December 2022, subject to further extension based on good performance.

II. Responsibilities

Elaboration of press releases and press materials regarding the activity of the Ministry, in the context of the management of the refugee crisis in Ukraine;

2) Participation in the organization and implementation of the Ministry's communication campaigns;

3) Monitoring media sources and drawing up a daily analytical report of media presence regarding the activity of the Ministry and the management of the refugee crisis in Ukraine;

4) Providing support to the Ministry's information and media communication service in organizing public events and press conferences related to the management of the refugee crisis;

5) Participation in the development, editing and distribution of regular publications, informational materials;

6) Providing support to media representatives and the interested public in identifying official information related to the management of the refugee crisis, with the prior coordination of the Information and Communication Service with the media within the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection;

III. Qualifications and skills required:

  • university degree, preferably in human sciences or law
  • fluency in Romanian, Russian and English. This will be tested (please indicate in resume the level of knowledge of all three languages)
  • ability to produce high-level written material under tight deadlines
  • strong organizational skills, initiative and follow-through, ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and team-oriented yet able to work independently
  • excellent communication skill
  • computer skills
