ERIM: Call for applications for Advocacy and Awareness-Raising Consultant to provide capacity building and mentorship to CSOs



Equal Rights and Independent Media (ERIM) is looking for a consultant/group of consultants to prepare and facilitate a two-day training workshop on advocacy and awareness-raising campaigns, as well as to provide mentorship to participants in preparing their advocacy plans/strategies. The training is scheduled for end-March 2022 (final dates to be agreed with the selected trainer) and will be organised in the Republic of Moldova, as part of the regional project “COVID-19: Civil Society Resilience and Sustainability”.

“COVID-19: Civil Society Resilience and Sustainability” is a regional project run by ERIM and funded by the European Union. The project aims to support Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), independent activists and independent media to continue their work throughout and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The consultant will be responsible for:

  • Participating in the selection processes of the participants and analysing their needs;
  • Preparing a two-day training agenda and materials, including presentations, needed to perform the training;
  • Delivering of a two-day training;
  • Reporting on the training activity by submitting the agenda, participant’s evaluations, participants sign-in sheet and brief description of the topics covered and conclusions of the training. Trainer is expected to submit the report within three weeks, in Romanian, Russian or English. The desirable language is English. If not possible, google translate is an acceptable method of translation into English;
  • Providing post training mentorship to up to 15 CSOs interested in developing their advocacy and awareness plans. Mentorship should be provided within 10 days of consultancy.
