Call for expression of interest - Anti-corruption grants for civil society and independent media
Expertise France launched the call for expression of interest for civil society organizations and independent media engaged in the fight against corruption.
Expertise France is the French public agency for the design and implementation of international technical cooperation projects.
- OBJECTIVES
The general objective of this call for projects is to help strengthen civil society in the fight against corruption, and to contribute to improving gender equality.
The specific objectives (SO) are:
- SO1: Support the missions of civil society in the fight against corruption, in particular initiatives to promote gender equality;
- SO2: Improve knowledge, advocacy and dialogue between public institutions and civil society on the phenomena of corruption, and in particular their impact on women.
- GEOGRAPHIC AND THEMATIC AREA
Eligible implementing countries are: Moldova, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
The thematic area identified for Europe are:
- 1: Facilitating forums fostering dialogue and combating corruption;
- 2: Empowering civil society to access information;
- 3: Enhancing transparency by disclosing public officials' interests and assets.
Cross-cutting theme: Support initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality, and in particular at reducing the differentiated impact of corruption on men and women, or sexist forms of corruption.
Project proposals must align with at least one of the areas above and, where possible, incorporate the cross-cutting theme of gender equality issues.

- Partners (optional, max. 6): Civil society organizations, independent media and universities;
- International structures are eligible, conditions are detailed in article 2.1.1.a of the call for expressions of interest regulations.

- Start: Between September 01, 2025 and December 31, 2025
- End: 31 May, 2027

- Budget: 40 000€ - 400 000€
- Funding rate: 80 – 100%
