Join Rebecca Stuch, to learn about the cultural activities of Día de los Muertos and about how digital storytelling can preserve and share personal memories across generations. Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a time to remember and honor those who have departed. It is a tradition celebrated on November 1 and 2 throughout Mexico, much of Latin America, and the United States. The presentation will explore the traditional customs of Día de los Muertos and Rebecca’s experience with community celebrations in the United States. This will be followed by viewings and discussions of digital stories that honor loved ones, showcasing personal expressions of remembrance.
