Title: Intern (six positions)
Working Hours: 6 months, full-time (38 hours/week)
Salary (Gross): 350 EUR/month (paid in local currency at fixed conversion rate)
Location: Chisinau, Republic of Moldova

1. Summary
The NATO Liaison Office (NLO) in the Republic of Moldova is a diplomatic mission representing NATO in the country. It facilitates political-military dialogue and cooperation between NATO and Moldova, supports reforms, and contributes to public diplomacy initiatives.
The NLO offers six internship positions in the following areas:
- Defence Capacity Building (DCB): Support project development and implementation.
- Professional Development Programme (PDP): Assist in organizing and evaluating training activities.
- Public Diplomacy (PD): Support communication initiatives and public outreach.
Candidates applying for multiple positions should submit a single application and indicate preferences in the motivation letter.
2. Qualifications and Experience
a. Essential
- Citizen of the Republic of Moldova
- Minimum age: 21
- Enrolled in or recently graduated (within 1 year) from relevant fields (IR, political science, law, etc.)
- Proficiency in Romanian and fluency in English
- Knowledge of political and security context
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Understanding of NATO and Moldova cooperation
- Strong learning orientation
- Ability to pass security screening
b. Desirable
- Project management experience
- Experience in public affairs and social media (for PD)
- Event planning experience
c. Skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills
- Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
3. Main Accountabilities
- Event management (training, seminars, logistics)
- Programme support and data analysis
- Drafting correspondence (English and Romanian)
- Preparing information notes
- Media monitoring and news bulletins (PD only)
- Social media content support (PD only)
- Other assigned duties

6. Terms of Recruitment
