UNICEF Moldova: ICT Associate, GS-6 (FT), Chisinau, Moldova (for Moldovan nationals & residents only)
UNICEF is hiring an ICT Associate, GS-6 to perform procedural and some specialized activities pertaining to UNICEF’s ICT systems, which include desktop administration and server operations.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have
Minimum requirements:
- Education: Completion of Secondary education, supplemented with formal training in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Engineering.
For this position, a bachelor's degree from a recognized academic institution in a relevant field may replace three years of related work experience and a master's degree can replace additional two years
- Work Experience:
- A minimum of six years of practical work experience in information technology, requiring systematic methods of troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Experience in providing assistance to users on IT products and services, and use of applications and diagnostic tools.
- Practical experience in providing technical and business Customer Support and Services.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in Romanian and working knowledge of English.
Desirables:
- ITIL Foundation Certificate or equivalent customer support certification.
- Knowledge of Russian or another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French or Spanish).
