Project Officer for Ukraine

HR-Consulting Srl on behalf of its client - a humanitarian aid organisation based in Germany, is looking for a highly professional candidate to fulfill the position of Project Officer.

This position is open for freelancers located in Ukraine.

Project Officer
Full-time/Part-time (20 to 40 hours per week)

Your responsibilities:

As the focal point of contact for the project in Ukraine, you will be responsible for its successful implementation and its results. This includes the following tasks:

• You assist in coordination between local project partners and stakeholders to the international project leadership and represent the organisation locally.
  ● You are the point of contact for the project partners in Ukraine and provide support to them.
  ● You participate in development of the new project areas and phases as well as new strategic project directions in coordination with the development department and under the guidance and leadership of the Project Coordinator.
  ● You lead field visits and monitor the project implementation in coordination with the project partners.
  ● You represent the organisation and the project in conferences, events, and meetings with key stakeholders in Ukraine.
  ● You ensure that the project offers good visibility material and opportunities to the communications department and in collaboration with them.
  ● You attend project and organization group meetings, and visit the HQ in Berlin upon request.
  ● You facilitate data collection and analysis for programs and monitoring evaluation.

Your Profile:

• You possess an academic background in relevant fields to humanitarian or development projects.
  • Past experience in a project that relates to Ukraine is a must.
  • You have sound experience in leadership and team management.
  • You fully embrace the goals and values of the organisation.
  • You are able to work independently and at the same time collaborate with others; possess excellent communication skills and a constructive way of approaching and engaging others and enhancing their motivation.
  • You are a solution-oriented person, who sees challenges as an opportunity for growth and who addresses difficulties calmly and objectively.
  • You speak fluent Ukrainian and English. Other foreign languages would be an additional advantage.
  • Able to travel in and out of Ukraine freely.
