Training Coordinator

“Vakakis Rural Developments & Associates SA”, an international consultancy company located in Athens -GR, is implementing the EU-funded Technical Assistance Project “Rural SMEs Policy Support Window” and would like to announce a new vacant position for a local Junior expert in the capacity of “Training Coordinator” for its project in Chisinau.
The task of the job is linked to the coordination and management of series of trainings that the project will deliver in the next time of period both in Chisinau and in the regions. It relates to all organisational tasks (logistics) for smooth delivery of the training programmes, including: planning, preparing the draft programme agendas, sending invitations to the trainees, ensuring/renting of appropriate room/space, organising the catering, supervising attendance lists, distributing the educational materials to the trainees, ensure that all necessary equipment is in place (PC, projectors, etc.) and providing translation/interpretation services from English, whenever the trainings are delivered by Senior International Experts. Finally, the Junior expert will get involved in other project activities as project assistant, whenever there is a need to support with organisational issues. All tasks will be performed in cooperation with the Team Leader, the training experts and the project office administrator.
The minimum requirements are:
- A university degree in an appropriate discipline relevant to the position, for which the expert is proposed or five (5) years of relevant experience in the absence of such a University degree (on top of the 3 years of experience in the required below);
- Excellent English, both written and spoken;
- Excellent writing skills;
- At least three (3) years of experience in the required area of expertise (experience to organise events/workshops/ trainings/seminars and facilitating their organisational procedures);
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), excellent written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English language is required. A car driving license and car availability is an asset. Active, dedicated and discrete attitudes are also sought by the potential candidates. The full time of occupation (09.00 - 17.00 daily) will be around six (6) months (November 2022-April 2023) with the possibility of extension of one (1) month. A satisfactory monthly based remuneration package is offered for the job.
