Mission of Role (Why the Role Exists)
VOICE is a cutting-edge, for impact-non-profit, that is revolutionizing the conflict, crisis and peacebuilding landscape by harnessing the power of women and girls. The mission of the Operations and Partnership Manager is to ensure that the VOICE team grows and runs smoothly, which includes the management and creation of partner’s experiences.
The Country Lead will be responsible for refining and delivering on VOICEs strategy, working to develop a strategic framework and systems to strengthen our partnerships with civil society and Women Rights Organisations. She will work dynamically with the technical team in partnership with VOICE stakeholders to support their ability to address VAWG and foster and strengthen WRO networks. The Country Lead will be responsible for undertaking activities related to professional engagements of VOICE with other partners and INGOs. She will coordinate VOICE partnership approach in Moldova, and support the development of our partnership approach to improve and adapt tools and practices including map and identify new partnership opportunities, facilitate relevant capacity strengthening support, and provide ongoing support to the partner organization in accessing grants. The Country Lead will work with the operations manager to ensure smooth operations on the ground including fiscal, HR an security systems are sound and accountable. She will also participate and contribute to VOICE’s regional strategy and team.
Partnerships Outcomes

Lead the refinement and implementation of VOICE’s Strategy, informed by the context, in collaboration with VOICE Moldovan partners and team members.

Work with and identify key Moldovan partner organizations, groups and collectives (as well as Ukrainian and refugee-led groups both formal and informal) and support their efforts in the refugee response as well as overall movement building work to ensure organizations exist well past this emergency response and are strengthened for future crises and responsive to the needs of women and girls in Moldova.

Lead on Moldovan Coordination efforts and ensure that key messages are reaching local organizations and if/and when desired ensure the voices of local organizations are present and supported to represent the needs of women and girls in specific coordination structures.

Support donor reporting and monitoring and evaluation of activities under our partnership agreements with VOICE’s donors.

Know the overall work of VOICE and be able to keep partner organizations informed through timely, relevant reporting and engagement with other key roles at VOICE.

Monitor new partner inbound requests and manage the process to invite, and engage new partners.

Participate and lead in any coordination meetings (internal and external) that will support the development and operationalization of the partnership strategy.

Lead and collaborate with team members in developing systematic approaches to selecting partners, and in identifying and pursuing strategic partnerships.

Identify and explore new partnerships, including the updating of the partnership mapping and establishing relationships for collaborating on VAWG or Women Rights programming and capacity building/ sharing.
Competencies and Experience

Minimum 7-years’ work experience (to include unpaid professional work) in development with NGOs, with at least 3 years’ experience in partnership-based programming or VAWG/ Women Rights programming and 3 years of supervisory experience

Visionary Leader with experience in inclusive strategy design and implementation

Knowledge and experience with donor funding and/or feminist philanthropy and/or UN systems

Independent leader who is self-aware with an ethos of collaboration, inclusiveness, patience and acceptance

Experience in all aspects of programme cycle management - design and development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation

Analytical problem-solver with strong organizational skills

Excellent skills in organizational capacity development, training, mentoring and team building

Strong experience in training, facilitation and partner capacity building skills

Excellent Communicator with strong interpersonal skills

Professional proficiency in Romanian and English. Russian and/or Ukrainian skills a plus
