Volunteer Coordinator, A.O. "Concordia. Social Projects" (for a fixed period)

We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator within the A.O. "Concordia. Social Projects", for a fixed period.

A.O. ''Concordia. Social Projects'' discovers every day professional people, working together to achieve the proposed objectives, by stimulating the growth of team spirit.

Responsibilities:

• Selecting national and international volunteers and organising their training;
• Planning and organising the activities of the volunteers, with the provision of the necessary materials to carry out the activities with the beneficiaries;
• Ensuring and maintaining effective communication between beneficiaries and volunteers;
• Monitoring the work of volunteers and reporting on their work;
• Coordinate and actively participate in the activities carried out by volunteers with refugees;
• Communicating externally the donations provided by Concondia to refugees;
• Collecting donation requests from refugees;
• Establishing relations with local partners, economic agents, individuals, in order to receive donations for refugees;
• Implementation of certain project activities, intended for the development of the volunteer department;

Expectations of candidates:

• Higher education;
• Experience in a similar position - minimum 3 years;
• Ability to interact, coordinate volunteer activities and communicate effectively with volunteers;
• Responsibility, fairness, honesty, analytical thinking;
• Knowledge of English is mandatory (German - an advantage);
• Experience in social/community mobilisation;
• Experience in working with groups, moderating teams;
• Experience in organising community events (for groups);
• Motivation to work with beneficiaries, positive commitment to social work;
