The Moldovan Electronics Industry Association (ACEM) is seeking a self-driven, proactive, and highly motivated Project Coordinator to manage the operational activity of the association, acting as a liaison among members, the board of directors, staff, government, and development partners.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for the Project Coordinator are to manage the implementation of the ACEM projects and activities, including those funded by development partners.
Management and Administration
- Responsible for the implementation of grants/financial agreements and specific projects agreed between ACEM and development partners.
- Developing detailed annual work and budget plans based on approved overall project plan. Support development and timely submission of work plans and budgets from development partners.
- Making schedules for project activities to ensure all activities completed on time; ensure timely and duly management of the project and implementation of all activities.
- Working with ACEM accountant to monitor project funds.
- Prepares procurement documentations for the approved ACEM projects, in close cooperation ACEM President, and Board of Directors.
- Responsible for correspondence, scheduling of meetings, preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, reports, assignments from the Board of Directors, membership services, planning (including business and marketing plans and similar duties as required), database mailing lists, and Annual General Meeting and regular meetings coordination.
- Responsible for collaboration with business associations, donors, governmental organizations etc.
Communications
- The primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator is to develop information for distribution to its members and partners to build an advocacy voice of support for its positions and initiatives.
- Develop and distribute regular member newsletters and content for ACEM social media.
- Serve as the face of the organization and actively participate in external events to increase community awareness on the electronics industry.
Membership
- Establish, encourage, and maintain positive, constructive, and proactive relationships with ACEM members.
- Maintain accurate and up to date directory of all ACEM members, including updating the CRM system.
- Maintain regular communications with existing ACEM members via site visits throughout the year.
- Proactive outreach to private companies operating in the electronics industry and attract them to join ACEM.
Skills and Qualifications
- MSc/MA in business administration, engineering, IT, legal or other relevant field
- 3 years relevant experience in project implementation
- Fluent written and oral knowledge of Romanian/Russian and English
- Proven experience as project coordinator or in other managerial position
- Strong public relations, marketing, and fundraising experience
- Outstanding organization, leadership abilities and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and public speaking skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with innovative approach to business planning
- Dynamic and charismatic team player who enjoys being the public face of an organization
