Key responsibilities:

Heading the Accounting/Finance and Administrative department of EBA

In relation to the duties to as Chief Accountant, the person will be responsible for the following aspects:

1. Ensure the appropriate bookkeeping in accordance with the RM legislation, ensure all the necessary entries into the EBA accounting registry
2. Payroll and HR administration
3. Monitoring cash flow
4. Providing monthly financial reports and other information upon the request of the EBA Board and the EBA Executive Director
5. Assuring accurate reporting according to the EBA policies towards members and Board
6. Assuring accurate tax reporting
7. Bookkeeping of donor projects, presenting the requested reports to the Donors
8. Drafting, controlling and supervising the EBA budget
9. Undertake any other duties as required

Qualification, Skills, Experience:

Candidates for this position should meet the following criteria:

1. University degree in Accounting,
2. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the combination of financial management, budget organization, tax issues,
3. Experience in NGO accounting should be considered as asset,
4. Fluency in oral and written English, Romanian,
5. Strong ability to work under pressure and against tight deadlines,
6. Strong drafting and interpersonal skills, honesty, orientation on achievements;
