Scope of work
To support the activity of the Information and Communication Service with the Media of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (MMPS), in the context of the launch of the new institutional communication channels in social networks, by ensuring their administration and constant updating with informational content, the development of infographics, as well as the organization of promotional events citizens.
Duties:

- Administration and constant updating of the Ministry's official pages on social networks;
- Creation of video content for the Ministry's social media pages;
- Creating infographics and other visual materials designed to facilitate the understanding of institutional messages by citizens;
- Developing and adapting the informational content intended for different categories of target audience, including videos, press releases and relevant posts for promoting the Ministry's activity, in Romanian, as well as in English/Russian, as the case may be;
- Organizing and participating in promotional events dedicated to informing citizens about the Ministry's activity and its initiatives;
- Collaboration with the Ministry's Information and Media Communication Service for the planning and implementation of communication campaigns;
- Monitoring the impact of communication on new channels and proposing adjustments to improve the efficiency of the messages sent;
- Monitoring comments on the Ministry's social media pages;
Responsibilities:
- Exercising the duties in strict accordance with the requirements of the position of consultant and the regulatory framework in force;
- Ensuring the quality of the materials developed and the events organized;
- Carrying out information and communication activities, within the required deadlines;
- Compliance with the internal rules of the authority and responsible use of material goods and technical equipment;
- Compliance with the Ministry's norms and quality standards in the field of communication and public relations.
DESIRED EXPERIENCES FOR ENTRY INTO THE ROLE:
- Has gained experience in utilising specialist communications techniques to enhance functional outputs
- Has provided direction and instruction to more junior staff members within area of expertise
STANDARD MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Advanced University degree in Journalism, International Relations, Public Relations, Communications or other relevant field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses.
Language:
Fluency (level C) in English language. Knowledge of Romanian language is required. Knowledge of other languages is welcomed.
