General Manager (Country Manager)
Our client, an international retail group, is seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager (Country Manager) to lead and develop its local operations.
The recruitment process is managed by HR-Consulting, a leading recruitment agency with over 20 years of experience in executive and managerial search.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the local subsidiary, ensuring that all departments function efficiently and in alignment with company objectives
- Work closely with headquarters to implement development, investment, financial, and sales strategies
- Act as the main representative of the company in front of local partners, service providers, and authorities
- Analyze the local market to identify growth opportunities and offer strategic recommendations to headquarters
- Manage administrative processes and the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, development plans, etc.)
- Foster a positive and performance-driven organizational culture
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a leadership role (General Manager, Country Manager, Executive Director, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Solid experience in sales management and retail store development
- Previous experience working with international teams and implementing global strategies at a local level
- Fluent English language skills (written and verbal)
- In-depth understanding of the local market, with a strategic and analytical mindset
- Results-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to change
