ABSL Moldova is the first and only international association in Moldova dedicated to the growth and development of the business services sector.

Our mission is to foster collaboration, provide support to our members, and enhance the sector's contribution to both the local and global economy.

Job title: Project development and member acquisition manager


Job type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)


Location: Office in Chișinău (Botanica), with travel across Moldova and occasional international trips.

About the role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated project development and member acquisition manager to join ABSL Moldova. This is a crucial role focused on driving the growth of the association by attracting new members, developing strategic partnerships, and advancing key projects. The successful candidate will play a vital role in expanding our presence, organizing impactful events, and fostering relationships with both local and international stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
• Lead the acquisition of new members, identifying and approaching potential business service providers to join the association;
• Establish and nurture relationships with key industry partners and stakeholders to secure funding and support for association projects;
• Organize and manage local events, including networking opportunities, workshops, and conferences to promote the association's goals;
• Represent ABSL Moldova at international forums, conferences, and events, building awareness of the association’s initiatives and vision;
• Collaborate with government agencies and other organizations to support project development and align with national initiatives;
• Develop and manage ongoing communication strategies with members and potential partners;
• Work closely with the leadership team to create and implement strategic plans for the association’s growth and impact.

Qualifications and skills:
• Proven experience in B2B sales, client acquisition, or business development, with a strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships;
• Experience in organizing events, conferences, or workshops, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once;
• Strong diplomatic and open-minded communication skills to build and maintain partnerships across diverse sectors;
• Proficiency in English, Romanian, and Russian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and proactively, with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities;
• Familiarity with the business services industry and experience working with non-profit or government entities is a plus;
• Flexibility to travel locally and internationally as required.
