National Individual Consultancy on mapping the existing platforms to support migrants to manage and monitor the remittances sent to the households in Moldova
UNICEF Moldova is hiring a National Individual Consultant, to identify and evaluate the current financial instruments and platforms that assist migrants in managing and monitoring remittances sent to households in Moldova. Additionally, the consultancy seeks to propose recommendations for developing new monitoring tools and/or enhancing existing ones to better meet the needs of the primary beneficiaries.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have
- Advanced degree in sociology, economics, or other relevant disciplines.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in developing analytical works in sociological, demographical, or migration-related fields.
- Experience in applying qualitative research methods.
- Good knowledge of the migration & development concept and diaspora, as well as remittances.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Fluency in Romanian and working knowledge of English and Russian is required.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants. Consultants are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
