Center for Entrepreneurial Education and Business Support (CEDA) is a non-governmental organization that seeks to contribute to the social and economic development of the country, poverty eradication through development and harnessing of vocational skills, of private initiative and entrepreneurial spirit.

In the context of the new project „Creating Values for Others: VET institutions provide relevant vocational skills. Phase II.” (CREATIVO Phase II), funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and Liechtenstein Development Service (LED), CEDA announces an open recruitment for the position of  Project Assistant.

The CREATIVO Phase II project seeks to advocate proactive measures and align training programs closely with market demands and to actively support entrepreneurial initiatives among VET institutions. This strategy is aimed at boosting employability and equipping trainees with professional skills that are directly relevant to the labor market. Through fostering an environment that encourages practical, hands-on learning and entrepreneurial thinking, the project seeks to transform VET institutions to meet the immediate needs of employers and inspire innovation and self-employment among VET graduates.

Project Duration: 48 months (01 July 2024 – 31 July 2028)

The main responsibilities, qualification requirements and application procedures for the position are listed below.

Project Assistant

Main role and responsibilities:

  • Performing technical duties related to monitoring and reporting on the Project and assist in implementation of projects activities
  • Maintaining filing system for all program materials (including trainers’ reports, lists of trainings participants, acts of acceptance, etc.)
  • Preparing briefing packets and agendas for visitors, meetings, and similar activities
  • Keeping records of all information related to project for documentation, clarification and presentation to management
  • Acting as an interpreter during the consultancy sessions (Rom/Rus) and will translate the working documents and training materials (Romanian/English and Russian)
  • Carrying on all procurements activities and will keep project`s inventory, will manage the project files
  • Drafting budgets of activities planned on a monthly basis

Job qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Minimum one-year office experience in project assisting
  • Good communication skills, fluency in written and spoken Romanian and English language; good working knowledge of Russian.
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Word Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
