Acted (Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development) is an international NGO founded in 1993 and headquartered in Paris. Its activities range from emergency relief to development projects. With a team of 5,900 national staff and 400 international staff, Acted is active in 41 countries and implements more than 500 projects a year, reaching over 20 million beneficiaries. The unprecedented humanitarian disaster faced by the Ukrainians is taking a dramatic turn, and millions of people are displaced in various areas. Acted helps ensuring they can receive the basic support they need, including water, food and hot meals, blankets, hygiene supplies and access to mobile heating points.

Acted is looking for a Project Manager (Cash for Rent) to join our team.
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the project and ensures effective and timely completion of activities, delivery of quality outputs and achievement of outcomes with maximum impact for beneficiaries. The Project Manager leads in the supervision of the project staff in day-to-day management of all aspects of the Cash project and ensures appropriate liaising with relevant internal departments and external partners and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the overall project implementation strategy (incl. the transition/phase out strategy), systems, approaches, tools, and materials;
- Lead the identification and planning of technical skills and requirements to implement theproject as per relevant standards;
- Control the work plan, monitoring the implementation status of the project and updating the project progress on a daily basis;
- Ensure documentation of implementation progress and challenges by regularly updating the Project Management Framework (PMF) and sharing it with country coordination;
- Ensure project records and documents, in particular documents that proof completion of activities (beneficiary list, donation certificates, attendance sheets, etc.) are adequately prepared, compiled and filed according to Acted procedures and donor specific procedures;
- Ensure project staff adhere to Acted’s Code of Conduct and treat all beneficiaries with respect and without any distinction or discrimination based on nationality, race, ethnicity, tribe, gender, religious beliefs, political opinion or disability;
- Oversee the appropriate, achievable and acceptable selection of project beneficiaries, in coordination with MEAL Unit;
- Lead the structuring of the project team and develop project organizational chart within the limitations of the budget;
- Develop and/or adjust of ToRs outlining staff roles and responsibilities in line with Acted standards;

The selection procedure consists of the following steps:

3. Formation of a list of potential candidates, based on the score after CV-analysis.
4. Pre-interview by phone (just to clarify some details).
5. Invitation of candidates with a sufficiently high score after CV-analysis to a written test (if provided).
6. Notification of the test results (within 1 - 1.5 weeks) and if the test is passed successfully invitation for an interview.
7. After the interview, sending a decision on the candidate (positive or negative), takes 1-1.5 weeks
