BSF Moldova vacancy - Liaison and Communications Officer

Position Objective:
BSF Moldova – Poland Program is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, organized, efficient, and communicative Liaison and Communications Officer who will play an important role within our team to support the development of our programs and to ensure a high-quality program implementation.
Your mission:
Under the direction of BSF's country representative in Moldova, the Liaison and Communications Officer will work to enhance overall communications, impact and abilities of the BSF Moldova-Poland Program. The role involves developing and updating communications products, partner relationships and engagement, and coordinating internal and external communications to create a robust communications ecosystem.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal and external communication strategy for the BSF Moldova - Poland program;
- Develop content, media, social network and communication tools;
- Liaise and communicate with the program's national and international partners and stakeholders;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with external partners;
- Facilitate meetings, discussions, and information exchange between the organization and external stakeholders;
- Cultivate and nurture positive relationships with external partners to enhance collaboration and mutual understanding;
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information from the organization to external stakeholders;
- Provide updates, reports, and relevant information to external partners as needed;
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to find solutions and maintain positive relationships;
- Assist in the implementation of organizational policies and procedures as they relate to external partners;
- Collect, analyze and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to Improve:
- Relationship with partners and stakeholders
- Communications tools
- Promotion materials
- Develop significant links with the national media and ensure media visibility for the BSF Moldova - Poland program.
- Liaise and communicate with the BSF head office (Paris) communications direction, adheres and respect to the standards and requirements of BSF communications policies;
- Publicize BSF's work and the progress of its projects to target populations by producing upstream (posters, invitations, etc.) and downstream (thank-you notes, summaries, information campaigns, etc.) communications.
- Define the schedule of actions to be carried out in line with the BSF high points (holiday periods, peak activity, etc.);
- Provide technical support to the BSF team for their specific communication initiatives;
- Organize and coordinate events for our partners and program beneficiaries;
- Participate in the drafting of various reports (donors; BSF, etc.)
- Represent BSF at events, meetings and with partners, donors and stakeholders
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree required (a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism or any related field);
- 3+ years of experience in a related role (INGO experience in Communications);
- Ability to write, edit and/or review materials in English, Romanian and Russian;
- Good public speaking and presentation skills;
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively and follow through issues;
- Experience in networking media;
- Flexibility, organization and communications skills.
Contract: Fixed-term employment contract until March 31, 2025, with possible extension.
Start date: As soon as possible (tentative start date: January 15, 2024)
Location: The position is based in Chisinau (Moldova) and is only open to national employees.
Salary and benefits: 1515 euros gross salary per month, 12 months a year. The BSF assumes the obligation to pay all applicable taxes and duties according to the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
