The potholder will work on the mission's projects in Moldova as part of the field team. She or he will assist in the implementation of cash activities utilizing various modalities outlined in the Projects' operational plans and maintain the archiving process, which he or she will coordinate directly with the Action Against Hunger Moldova Mission's implementation responsible (FSL/Cash Technical Coordinator).
Key activities in your role will include
- Perform specialized and/or standardized processes and activities within the specific technical area of work.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of the AAH Moldova Cash Voucher Assistance program, including cash assistance delivery through a variety of modalities.
- Assisting with alignment with broader program policies and guidelines.
- Preparing the necessary documents for the cash transfer, such as templates and other supporting documents.
- Participating in and actively contributing to any FSL assessments that occur in the area.
- Monitoring and tracking project activities, as well as contacting beneficiaries to ensure they receive assistance.
- Assuring the archiving process, providing status updates, etc.
- Compliance Export and manage data related to the assistance delivery. Perform data analysis and reporting as required.
- Beneficiaries’ management Receive queries from internal AAH Spain units and external agencies related to the assistance delivery and provide feedback and follow up as necessary.
- Ensure proper filing and record keeping. Liaise with assistance beneficiaries and partners.
- Monitoring Following the data collection inputs with the MEAL team and relevant partners and contractors.
- The post holder may be required to undertake any other duties as reasonably required
Do you meet the profile required criteria?
- Professional in Economics, Social Sciences or related fields.
- Desirable, studies in community development in social needs, humanitarian aid or similar.
- Knowledge of socio-economic variables to be considered in the design and implementation of cash transfer programs.
- Desirable knowledge and experience in humanitarian, emergency, and development programming.
- Experience in content development and training specifically on cash transfers modalities.
- Experience in the implementation of cash transfer programs and projects would be desirable.
- Capacity to work with migrant and refugee population would be very valuated.
- Creativity and initiative.
- Work under pressure.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English, and Romanian / Russian
- Sensitivity and humanitarian vocation.
- Committed to confidentiality.
- High adaptability and flexibility to changes in intervention modalities.
- Desirable knowledge and experience in the incorporation of cross-cutting approaches (Do No Harm, Gender and Socio-cultural approaches).
- Understanding of the rights approach.
- Knowledge of the coordination mechanisms of the response to refugees and migrants would be an advantage

- Base: Chisinau (Moldova)
- Salary: according to Action Against Hunger salary scale and to candidate’s previous experience.
