REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

To participate to the Multiple Framework Agreement for Catering Services

To whom it might concern,

The “Strategic Communication and Support to Mass‐Media” project funded by the European Union is looking for companies to provide appropriate catering services for the events as requested.

Duration of the assignment: December 2021 – December 2022.

Objective: The selected entity having a legal representation based in the Republic of Moldova is expected to provide various catering and food services, as required by StratCom. All management and administrative products, current and emerging, which assist in the support of the authorized events, fall within the scope of the proposal. The successful Contractor shall provide full, prompt, accurate catering services and delivery of consumables to StratCom as per request.

The Agreement will be concluded for the period from December 2021 until December 2022 (till the end of the ongoing project, subject to satisfactory performance evaluation) with effect from the date on which it enters into force. 

LOT1

1. Provide necessary equipment (tableware, necessary utensils, furniture and decoration if necessary) and personnel to ensure provision of food and beverages for catering purposes including soft drinks (fresh fruit juice, sodas, etc.), desserts (biscuits, cakes, etc.), hot & cold snacks as well as lunch/dinner meals including drinks (for trainings and workshop sessions and other events organised by StratCom project at reasonable cost with 20 to 100 (or more) participants.
2. Provide the abovementioned services for events based in Europe Café or outside the EU Information Centre in Chisinau (Europe Café), including locations outside Chisinau to be considered. The equipment provided shall be determined based on each event separately depending on the concept and Agenda of each event, in close consultations with StratCom team;
3. The supplier is responsible for the set-up, serve, dismantle and clean the catering stations, when requested.
4. Put at the disposal professional personnel which would be required by the concept and event flow;
5. Ensure smooth service for the events;
6. Ensure that the quality of all the foods, either raw or processed complies with sanitation standards.
7. Ensuring that the quality of food and services presented during the food tasting be maintained throughout the term of concession.
8. The supplier should provide for each employee assigned to specific task orders with the copy of valid Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate;

LOT2

1. Provide food and beverages for catering purposes (breakfast/coffee breaks/lunches) such as soft drinks (fresh fruit juice, sodas, etc.), desserts (biscuits, cakes, pastry, etc.), for trainings and workshop sessions and other events organised by StratCom project at reasonable cost with 10 up to 30 participants.
2. Provide necessary equipment (/tableware) and personnel (if requested).
3. Provide the abovementioned services for events based in Europe Café or outside the EU Information Centre in Chisinau (Europe Café), including locations outside Chisinau to be considered. The equipment provided shall be determined based on each event separately depending on the concept and Agenda of each event, in close consultations with StratCom team;
4. Ensure that the quality of all the foods, either raw or processed complies with sanitation standards.
