For our client – an International humanitarian organization, we are looking for a Project & PSS Officer to join a dynamic and multicultural team based in Moldova.

The organization provides global emergency relief and rehabilitation through a holistic approach that combines psychosocial support, community empowerment, and emergency assistance, with a focus on building resilient, self-sustaining communities.

The selected candidate will support the implementation and coordination of psychosocial support and empowerment activities, working closely with local and international partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordination between local project partners and international project leadership;
  • Facilitate psychosocial support (PSS) activities, especially for women and children;
  • Apply gender-sensitive and child protection-compliant methodologies aligned with internal guidelines;
  • Collect and analyze program data; contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and reporting;
  • Ensure the visibility of project activities through appropriate communication materials;
  • Attend regular internal meetings and travel to the organization’s HQ (in Berlin) upon request.

Your Profile:

  • At least 2 years of experience in psychosocial support projects, preferably in humanitarian, emergency, or low-resource settings;
  • Experience working with vulnerable groups, minorities, or displaced populations is a strong asset;
  • Previous coordination experience is an advantage;
  • Membership in a recognized national association of psychologists or psychotherapists is a plus;
  • Fluent in Romanian, Russian, and English (Ukrainian – an advantage).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong team spirit, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently under pressure.
