World Day against Trafficking in Persons is a day dedicated to raising awareness about human trafficking globally. It serves as a reminder of the urgent need to combat this crime and support victims. America House plans to mark the day with a screening of a documentary about human trafficking “Not My Life: The Global Impact of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery” and a follow-up discussion in Romanian with two experts from Moldova, who will talk about human trafficking and how our country is affected by it. Through education, advocacy, and action, we stand together to fight against modern slavery and exploitation, ensuring a safer and more just world for all.
