Over 100 Mayors from Europe and Ukraine gather in Moldova for International Mayors Summit 2024

On April 11, 2024, Moldova will host a landmark event in urban and rural development: the International Mayors Summit 2024. The event will see more than 60 mayors and special guests from the European Union and 40 mayors from Ukraine convene in Moldova, marking a significant occasion as city leaders from across the continent come together to share, learn, and collaborate on transforming urban environments into sustainable, livable habitats.

Mayors from Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Lithuania and Moldova will take the stage to showcase how they've addressed unique local challenges through innovation and creativity. The International Mayors Summit presents a platform for city leaders to showcase innovative solutions to urban challenges. This event promises to be a platform, where mayors from the EU and the region will share their successful strategies for enhancing urban and rural life, emphasizing sustainability, and fostering community well-being with mayors presenting their approaches to urban management. 

The Summit's format is designed to foster knowledge exchange and build a robust international network among leaders committed to urban transformation. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore various urban development solutions firsthand, and potentially kickstart new projects and partnerships.
