English Conversation Club | Changing Family Life in the U.S. and Europe

What is a family? How have families changed in the U.S. and in Moldova and its region in the last half-century? What have been the sources of these changes?

For this meeting of the 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, Daina Eglitis, a sociologist working in the U.S. and currently based in Moldova, will talk about some of the key changes in family life and family composition and will invite club participants to share their questions, ideas, and experiences about the important topic of modern families and what changes mean for our societies, politics, and economies.
