ICRC is hiring: Communications/ Prevention Officer

• Location: Chisinau, Moldova

• Salary: 23,000 - 25,000 gross (depending on experience and skills)

About the Role:

• We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic person to join our Mission team. This role serves as the focal point for all matters related to the Mission’s digital presence, print production needs, and event organization. You will be responsible for enhancing the ICRC’s digital reputation and positioning in line with the Mission’s priorities, with the objective of building understanding, acceptance, and support for the ICRC among key stakeholders.
• Key responsibilities:
• Digital presence: Enhance the ICRC’s digital reputation by creating, editing, and publishing content across various channels. Monitor the performance of digital content after publication and produce social media reports.
• Social media management: Regularly update and manage the Mission’s social media platforms. Support operational communication and community engagement by optimizing two-way communication.
• Print production: Develop, produce and manage the stock of internal and external communication products, publications, and promotional materials, in accordance with the Field Production Book.
• Representation: Represent the ICRC to diverse audiences by delivering dissemination sessions on the ICRC’s mandate, history, Fundamental Principles, and humanitarian action.
• Budget management: Act as the focal point for the Mission’s Field Production Book budget.
• Visual identity: Ensure that the visual identity of ICRC products is consistently applied and maintained.
• External relationships: Manage relationships with external service providers and relevant interlocutors.
• Administrative and analytical support: Contribute to the Mission’s analysis of contextual developments related to the reputation of the ICRC and the Movement; support the organization of events to promote IHL; and properly archive documented images/documents in the internal database.
