Partnership Coordinator of the Community Center

  1. JOB DESCRIPTION

MAIN RESPONSABILITES  

The Education facilitator will be an integral member of the professional team at the Chisinau community center and will serve as a link with the WeWorld program team. He/she will assist the Partnership Coordinator in the planning, organization, and reporting of activities in accordance with the donor's compliance requirements. He/she will also facilitate the sharing of information between the center and the WW office.

2.1. Educational & Recreational Support

  • Support the design and implementation of educational and recreational activities, ensuring they are inclusive and engaging.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and personal growth.

2.2. Monitoring & Feedback Collection

  • Engage with Community Center members to understand their needs, interests, and feedback, reporting these back to the line manager.
  • Regularly collect and use feedback from participants to continuously improve activity content and delivery methods.
  • Support in collecting data for project evaluations and assessments, including baseline/midline/endline surveys.

2.3. Communication & Visibility

  • Use appropriate donor visibility during activities and contribute to communication materials (photos, success stories, etc.).
  • Assist in collecting high-quality materials, such as photos, videos, and testimonies, for communication purposes.
  • Assist the line manager in managing and maintaining all social media related to the Community Center.

2.4. Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Actively participate in team and coordination meetings, following up on and completing assigned action points.
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to create a holistic support network for individuals in the Community Center.
  • Attend relevant trainings and professional development sessions as required.

2.5. Reporting & Archiving

  • Collect, organize, and archive project-related documents (digital and non-digital), ensuring version control and easy retrieval.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive information.
  • Collect attendance for all activities using appropriate templates and ensure proper record-keeping.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all relevant documents and materials.

2.6. Other duties

  • Recognise the power imbalance that comes with being a professional working with individuals that are marginalized or in need of support and ensure that no abuse is committed for personal gain.
  • Perform any other duty requested by the line manager.
  1. REQUIRED PROFILE FOR THE POSITION 

3.1 Qualifications and Professional Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Social Sciences, or related field preferred 
  • Previous experience working in non-formal education settings, preferably with children and vulnerable adults
  • Familiarity with child protection policies and procedures
  • Experience in designing and implementing educational and recreational activities
  • Proficiency in Russian and Romanian or Ukrainian. English knowledge is considered an asset

This Job Description is an integral part of the employment contract and outlines the responsibilities and expectations associated with the position of EDUCATOR at WeWorld Moldova. Both the Organization and the Employee are expected to adhere to the terms and duties described herein.
