People in Need is hiring a a Psychologist, Social Inclusion and Protection Department



The Psychologist will be responsible for the implementation of PSS activities carried out in school environments and different settings. (S)he will be responsible for the provision of group Psychosocial activities to the target population, ensuring the confidentiality and safety of the clients.

Duty station - Chisinau, Moldova

Salary range – 10.970,00 – 11.640,00 MDL brut for 5 working hours

Languages –Romanian/Russian - is required English – basic knowledge

Type of contract - Employment contract; Part-time work

Expected Duration of Assignment - 07/10/2024 - 31/03/2025

Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in Psychology is required.
  • A master's degree or technical studies in Psychology is desired.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience working with children, including managing PSS cases directly is required.
  • Experience working with children/youth programming, psychosocial support, or child protection with an NGO, INGO, or UN agency is required.
  • Knowledge of Computer skills is required.
  • Languages: Fluency in Romanian and Russian is required. Basic knowledge of English.
