Acted is looking for an Accountability Assistant
“The Accountability Assistant contributes to improving the quality of Acted programming through the accurate registration and timely follow up of any complaints about Acted’s activities/staff and also contributes to the development of appropriate messaging and communication strategies. The Accountability Assistant is the first point of contact for beneficiaries who need to give feedback and/or raise complaints. As such, the Accountability Assistant will ensure the effective functioning of the Beneficiary Complaints and Response Mechanism of Acted, enhance the trust and confidence of beneficiaries, identify areas of our work which need to be improved and ensure that Acted learns from the feedback provided through this process.

Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement and monitor the beneficiary Acted Feedback Mechanism (AFM) for the country mission in line with Acted standard beneficiary AFM procedures;
- Build capacity and understanding among Acted staff, partners and contractors on beneficiary accountability and AFM;
- Accompany the MEAL and/or project teams to the field in order to spread awareness about the AFM to beneficiaries, as well as local authorities and stakeholders in Acted’s areas of implementation, during field visits;
- Ensure the effective functioning of the beneficiary AFM and that beneficiary complaints/feedback is adequately captured, analyzed, addressed and responded to in a timely manner and utilized by the program and coordination teams;
- Receive complaints through telephone hotline, in writing and in person;
REQUIREMENTS:

- Fluent in English and Russian,
- Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible world view
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of Romanian and/or Ukrainian is an advantage.

The selection procedure consists of the following steps:
- Collection of submitted CVs during the period until the deadline specified in the announcement (all CVs sent in accordance with the requirements are considered).
- CV-analyzing the resumes based on the vacancy requirements.
- Formation of a list of potential candidates, based on the score after CV-analysis.
- Pre-interview by phone (just to clarify some details).
- Invitation of candidates with a sufficiently high score after CV-analysis for a test.
- Notification of the test results (within 1 week) and if the test is passed successfully invitation for an interview.
- After the interview, sending a decision on the candidate (positive or negative), takes within 1 week.
