The Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) is seeking a fundraising and capacity-building specialist to join the team.

The fundraiser will use expert communication skills and a keen sense of initiative to spot fundraising opportunities, develop relationships with potential donors, and manage fundraising campaigns.

Specific duties:

• to develop and implement an annual fundraising and communication strategy to complement the organization’s existing programs;
• to promote awareness of the organization’s mission and work through the potential partners, donors, stakeholders, and counterparts;

• to cultivate a network of dedicated donors and partners;
• to search for calls for proposals and apply for grants based on CCR’s overall and specific goals;
• to complement the team with volunteer human resources and coordinate the volunteering programs;
• to assess the needs of personnel and ensure training courses, information sessions, capacity-building sessions;

Education and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, public relations, or related field
• Good command of English (C1), Russian (C1) and Romanian
• Good written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and computer skills, ability to work efficiently and accurately, ability to work in team and independently, organizational skills

Work experience:

• Experience in fundraising and capacity-building or project management 

Work conditions:

• full-time (8 hours/day)
• common workplace with other employees
• access to equipment (phone, printer, smart desk, etc.)

Contract period: until December 31, 2024 (with possibility of extension)
