Remuneration: according to the Tdh Salary scale, including private health insurance
Location: Chisinau office, with flexibility in terms of movements across Moldova

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Project Officer will work in the Access to Justice (A2J) Program. Currently, Tdh is working to increase the protection of children in contact with the law, with a special focus on child offenders under the Minimum Age of Criminal Responsibility (MACR). The action has been designed in complementary clusters, serving and directly improving the capacity of key stakeholder groups. The main interventions of the project are to build the capacity of multi-disciplinary actors to identify, respect the rights, and respond to the needs of children in contact with the law, with a special focus on children committing offenses under MACR; to promote systemic approaches to the prevention of violence against children and juvenile delinquency at community level and to support the development and piloting of at least one innovative protection service.
The Project Officer is also expected to coordinate the intervention with the rest of the colleagues within the Access to Justice program and to take on other justice initiatives that will arise within the department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
•Responsible for the effective and qualitative implementation of project activities and for reaching project outcomes, ensuring high standards of work.
•Facilitate capacity building for social actors within Moldova, including through formal training in the field of Access to Justice program.
•Ensures that appropriate technical knowledge is available to project partners and stakeholders
•Ensures sound liaison with different stakeholders and project partners
•Ensures all the communication processes in the project, internally and externally, with other colleagues and partners
•Responsible for implementation of Tdh’s Child Safeguarding Policy by project partners
•Participates in the process of identifying, building network of experts and partners at national level to support the A2J programme development
•Participates in external communication, networking and advocacy
•Takes on other justice initiatives that will arise within the department
•Follows Tdh PCM guidelines for planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
•Works closely with colleagues from the Communication, Logistics, Finance and MEAL Departments for a smooth implementation of project activities.
YOUR PROFILE
•Relevant university degree in Law or Social Sciences or another relevant subject from an accredited educational institution
•3+ years of experience in implementing projects in the Justice field, including justice for children
•Experience or sound understanding of child participation processes
•Experience in Criminal Justice, Child Protection, Social Protection and/or development aid
•Ability to establish a cooperation and collaboration environment
•Experience in contributing to projects with diverse team members
•Excellent communication skills; good proficiency in spoken and written in Romanian and English
•Results-oriented and problem-solving skills.
