Key areas of accountability
- Build and maintain networks within communities of refugees from Ukraine, fostering constructive relationships that impact protection planning, programming, and results.
- Utilize relationships with refugees and a network of partners to understand refugees' perspectives, capacities, needs, and resources. Provide advice to the protection team, emphasizing the specific protection needs of diverse groups, including women, men, children, youth, older persons, persons with disabilities, Roma people, and marginalized groups.
- Collaborate with host communities to identify opportunities for national civil society involvement in improving refugee protection.
- Work with implementing and operational partners, as well as displaced and local communities, to develop community-owned activities addressing social, educational, psycho-social, cultural, health, organizational, and livelihood concerns, as well as child protection and prevention and response to Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
- Support participatory assessments by multifunctional teams and engage in ongoing consultations with refugees.
- Assist communities in establishing representation and coordination structures, actively participating in the Local Coordination Forum.
- Identify and prioritize individuals or groups for counselling and field visits based on agreed criteria.
- Facilitate work and involvement of services at the community center.
- Map available services in the Transnistria region. Safely identify, refer, and inform vulnerable refugees about services and rights from social assistance and humanitarian services.
- Individual Assistance and social accompany the most vulnerable refugees to service providers.
- Organize community events.
Qualifications and skills required:
Academic Qualifications:
- University degree
Experience and knowledge:
- Previous work experience in the area would be considered as advantage
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word,
Competencies:
- Good analytical skills and good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under stress and in crisis situations.
- Cultural and gender awareness.
- Fluency in Ukranian, Russian and English languages.
- Driver license.
