EducationUSA Russia Outreach Coordinator - Virtual (located outside Russia)
EducationUSA Russia is seeking to hire an Outreach Coordinator, who will promote all accredited
U.S. higher education institutions (HEIs) and assist students with their application process. The
primary responsibilities of the adviser will include marketing and social media management (SMM),
website analytics and enhancement, website search engine optimization (SEO), as well as establishing
communication with HEIs in the U.S. to organize a range of online activities for Russian-speaking
audiences. These activities aim to inform and educate individuals about the application process for
higher education in the United States.
Responsibilities
● Develop marketing and social media management (SMM) strategic plans and execute
promotional activities
● Engage with advertising platforms and contractors across various media channels
● Collaborate with media outlets to create article-based advertising on relevant topics
● Coordinate the content of newsletters, including digests, event calendars, program updates, etc.
● Act as a liaison with U.S. higher education institutions to promote U.S. higher education and
programs through virtual events, such as themed webinars, online events, EducationUSA
higher education fairs, and participation in external international fairs
● Provide technical support for search engine optimization (SEO) and communicate with the
corresponding service provider
● Update and analyze website data
● Prepare budgets and reports on activities
Qualifications
● Extensive knowledge of the U.S. higher education system and its application process
● A strong grasp of the Russian social media market and its dynamics
● Proficiency in using online platforms like Zoom, along with a deep understanding of website
platforms like WordPress
● UX/UI experience
● Fluent in Russian
● Physically located outside Russia (employment within Russia will not be considered)
