Médecins du Monde (MdM) is an international humanitarian organization.

It’s mission is to provide medical care and psycho-social support for the most vulnerable populations.

Job objective:

The psychologist will be responsible of providing MdM mental health and psychosocial support to individual and/or group beneficiaries.

Main tasks:

• Develop individual treatment sessions for beneficiary’s need.
• Maintain and promote trustful and confidential professional relationship with beneficiaies.
• Build up basic support and guidance to family and group members.
• Provide child and adolescent counseling sessions.
• Create patients follow-up files ensuring confidentiality.
• Submit weekly activity report.
• Attend on-job training on mental health and psycho-social support.
• Respect and promote MdM policy and code of conduct.
• Demonstrate ethical and professional practice.

 Needed qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in counselling psychology.
• Diploma in social science and/or another relevant field.
• Training in psychological first aid.
• Good knowledge of English language, both speaking and writing appreciated.
• 2 years experience in similar environment would be a plus.

Preferred skills:

• Team spirit, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of English language, both writing and speaking, appreciated.
• Willingness to stay in the areas of intervention within the Regions, as needed during the week.
