The NATO Liaison Office (NLO) in the Republic of Moldova represents NATO in the Republic of Moldova, promotes political dialogue and practical cooperation between NATO and the Republic of Moldova, and facilitates NATO’s advice and assistance in support of ongoing reforms and joint programmes and projects, as requested by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova. The NATO‑Republic of Moldova Professional Development Programme (PDP) is one these programmes.

The objective of the PDP is to enhance professional development of civilian personnel and civil service capacities within the defence and security sector of the Republic of Moldova, thus contribute to enhancing Moldova’s national security.

The Project Officer supports the PDP, including the planning and implementation of assigned projects.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested qualified candidates are invited to apply by e-mail to: office@nlo-moldova.hq.nato.int; with the email’s subject line reading: “Application - Project Officer”.

Candidates are required to enclose the following materials, in English:
     1. a CV/Resume;
     2. a short Cover Letter (maximum one page), explaining the candidate’s motivation for this particular post and how s/he meets the required qualifications and           experience;
     3. a list of two-three professional references, including the name, position and contact details for each referee.

The deadline for application is: 27 November 2022.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and invited for a written test and interview.

The successful candidate will be offered a contract following a medical and background/security check.
