SOW Objective:

The AV/Communications consultant will provide expert guidance and configurations for MRI partners. The consultant will advise on Audiovisual and communications equipment and software needs, requirements, procurement and maintenance plans. The consultant will oversee installation of equipment for Chisinau-based MRI partners. The consultant may also advise on resources, staffing plans and operational plans for AV equipment to include maintenance and repair schedules.

Scope of Work:

The consultant is expected to perform the following illustrative services, as requested by Dexis:

• Provide expert guidance on AV and communication equipment and software needs to MRI partners
• Outline the requirements, support procurements, and create maintenance plans for the equipment and software recommended
• Oversee the installation of AV equipment and orient MRI partner staff to equipment if needed
• Advise on resources, staffing plans, and operational plans regarding AV and communication equipment

Deliverables:

The consultant is expected to produce the following deliverables, as requested by Dexis:

• List of equipment and software needs with specifications, estimated price, and other needs for various MRI partners
• Evidence that equipment is successfully installed
• Draft resource and staffing plans
• AV equipment maintenance and operations plans

Reporting:

The AV/Communications STTA will report to the Chief of Party  or designee

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Audio Visual, Multimedia and Video Conferencing Systems designs
• AV standards and best practices and 3 to 5 years of demonstrable AV/Multimedia project experience
• Relationships with manufacturers and installers of AV/Multimedia Systems
• Ability to understand an MRI partner’s requirements and produce an appropriate AV Systems design, participate in procurement process, oversee installation and troubleshoot once in place
• An awareness of installation methods, architectural integration, power, cooling and containment systems for AV technologies
• Ability to work effectively on several projects simultaneously
• An understanding of at least one of the following technologies is essential:
  • audio systems, video systems, control systems or video conferencing systems
  • Coaxial Cabling Systems, Ethernet, IP, Structured cabling systems, digital workflows and Electric wiring regulations
  • PBX/Voice Systems, BMS, Room Booking Systems.
