The Public Association „Charity Centre for Refugees” (CCR) is hiring a Legal Counselor for the project „ Ukraine Emergency Response – hygiene and sanitation” (the Project).

Work regime: part-time.

Specific tasks:

• Governance and compliance: advice and support to manage legal compliance requirements, within the Project including: organisation secretarial, legal registration, data protection, anti-terrorism, anti-bribery both in respect of the CCR activities in the CCR office and in other places of project implementation.
• Ensures the project implementation cycle is in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, both of the CCR and the partner of the Project.
• Participates in the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures and programs, and provides continuing counsel on legal implications.
• Contracts and policies: assistance with the review of major contracts and the development of standard contractual documents and policies.
• Training and support: assistance with the development and provision of guidance and training resources for staff and management on relevant legal topics related to the Project.
• Work with management and the Board to promote a culture of high ethical standards and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Higher education in the legal and/or economic field;
• good knowledge of the Law of the Republic of Moldova related to the working domain (the Law on Asylum, the Law on Foreigners in the Republic of Moldova, the Law on Integration of Foreigners in the Republic of Moldova, the Law on Public Associations, etc.);
• good written and oral communication skills;
• ability to work efficiently and accurately;
• ability to work in team and independently;
• organizational skills;
• ability to work in-doors and out-door. 

Experience:

More than 3 years of experience in legal field, preferably in an international organization, national agency, non-governmental organization/think-tank, or private sector. 

Language skills:

English, Romanian, Russian 

Working conditions:

• Contract with determined period (May - September, 2022) with possibility of extension;
• open space office;
• access to landline / business fax, PC, xerox, printer, video projector, etc.
