U.S. Embassy is hiring a Guard

Main Duties
As part of the Embassy Local Guard Force (LGF) performs full range of static and roving guard services to safeguard and protect U.S. Government property and personnel. Incumbent is directly supervised by the Guard Shift Supervisor and falls under the U.S. Embassy Regional Security Office (RSO).
Qualifications and Evaluations
Experience: At least one year of experience in the security, military or law enforcement field is required.
Education Requirements: Completion of Secondary School or Local Mandatory Schooling and received high school diploma.
Language: LANGUAGE: Level II (Limited Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. Level III (Good Working Knowledge) speaking/reading/writing Romanian is required. Level III (Good Working Knowledge) speaking/reading/writing Russian is required. (This may be tested.)
Skills and Abilities:
- Incumbent must be in excellent health and physical condition. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (eight to ten hour shifts), intermittently lift items up to 24 kg, and run or walk up to one kilometer. Incumbent must be physically capable of being trained in defensive measures.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, cross-cultural communication and customer service skills to effectively deal with internal and external visitors while maintaining stringent security protocols.
- Must have basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
