Project Assistant for the “Gender in Policymaking” Project

Location: online

Starting date:  No later than April 10th
Expected Duration of Assignment: April -September, part-time position

About the Project: Comunitati in Actiune and WDN Moldova will equip female and male leaders – in both elected positions and civil society – with the tools and knowledge to incorporate gender in policies, reverse gender inequality, and correct power imbalances. WDN Moldova will incorporate a mentorship model to develop relationships between participants.

TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS 

• Strong knowledge of Zoom application and one of Learning Management Systems (Google Classroom or Moodle)
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Good knowledge and understanding of gender equality and social issues
• Ability to work with figures, undertake basic research, and gather information from standard sources
• Good drafting and reporting skills

Work Experience Requirements and Qualifications:

• Two years of progressively responsible work in supporting training events
• Proven experience in supporting online educational events
• Fluent writing and reading proficiency in the English language and a native speaker of Romanian is required. Native or fluent Russian will be considered an advantage.
• Proven experience in designing communications products such as fact sheets, newsletters, blogs, and social media posts is using Canva, or other related tools would be a strong advantage

Education Requirements

• University or college degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, business administration, public administration, management, economic studies, marketing, international relations, or journalism
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite) and MS Office
• Additional training and certification in Monitoring and Evaluation and/or Moodle would be an advantage.
