Request for Proposals (RFP): International PR Campaign for MITP

Moldova Innovation Technology Park (MITP) invites proposals from PR/consulting firms or consortia to execute a 3-month international PR campaign. The goal is to enhance MITP's global visibility, showcase its framework, and position the Republic of Moldova as a desirable IT destination.

I. INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS

Applicants should submit their proposals to veronica.bucur@mitp.md and natalia.dontu@mitp.md by January 31, 2024, including technical and financial proposals (in USD, net of VAT).

II. PROJECT BACKGROUND/INTRODUCTION

MITP, a unique framework supporting Moldova's IT sector, seeks a PR partner to increase international awareness. MITP provides special tax incentives and benefits, fostering IT innovation and digital transformation. With over 1600 tech entrepreneurs and 20,700+ employees, MITP aims to expand its global impact.

III. GENERAL PURPOSE

MITP aims to engage a PR/consultancy firm to develop and implement a 3-month international PR plan, highlighting MITP's advantages and promoting Moldova as an IT destination.

IV. PROJECT ASSIGNMENT

The selected agency will focus on strategic communication planning, media relations, and outreach, targeting IT businesses, potential residents, investors, and consulting companies. MITP's communication agenda includes events like SumIT UP, Moldova Innovation Awards Gala, and participation in international events.

V. QUALIFICATIONS AND PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

Interested agencies should submit detailed proposals, including agency profiles, methodology, approach, key personnel qualifications, and a financial proposal.

VII. TIMELINE OF PROPOSAL EVENTS

RFP announcement: December 15, 2023

Deadline for written questions: January 19, 2024

Proposal due date: January 31, 2024

Subcontract award (estimated): February 16, 2024

VIII. EVALUATION AND SELECTION CRITERIA

Proposals will be evaluated based on the agency's track record, understanding of the IT sector, methodology, financial proposal, key personnel qualifications, and years of activity.

BUDGET AND CONTRACTING TERMS

The budget for this assignment is set at $50,000 USD (net of VAT), with deviations subject to evaluation.

This RFP does not obligate MITP or other involved parties to make an award or pay for costs incurred during the proposal preparation.
