In Moldova, SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL has started an essential response in CASH assistance, water, sanitation and hygiene, emergency shelter and food assistance for the refugee and host populations since March 2022. To ensure the smooth running of our activities, we need you!

MISSION

The Activity Manager for Site Management and Food Distribution provides support to the Program Manager in defining, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, coordinating and managing the refugees’ centres and transit point.

Starting date:                             ASAP

Duration:                                    2 months, renewable

Duty Station:                            Chisinau

Gross Salary:                           27,000 MDL per month

List of main tasks:

• Realisation of diagnostics assessment of human needs, logistical and financial resources needed for any activity implemented at refuge/transit points level in support of the program teams

• Regularly monitor the evolution of the local context of intervention and partake in the identification of new areas of intervention, as well as gauging of financial, human, and logistical programs

• Oversee the implementation of the beneficiary tracking systems at refuge/transit points level
• Regularly visit the refuges/transit points and follow up the proper conduct of the NGO activities
• Coordinate with the different actors working in the area to ensure all the necessary needs for beneficiaries are covered (such as accommodation, hygiene, food security…)
• Ensure and coordinate with the food suppliers the composition of each meal, the quantity need for each center and the respect of hygiene rules by the supplier

• Partake in the recruitment and management of the Program teams

• Meeting with the relevant local bodies: community meetings, local authorities, local coordination mechanisms

PROFILE OF THE CANDIDATE / REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience with NGO/INGOs valued
• Previous experience in project managemenzt
• Technical knowledge in site management and/food security along with demonstrated experience
• Availability to work full time (estimated 8:30am to 5:30pm) for a minimum of 3 months required
• Language: Good command of English, Romanian and Russian are mandatory. Ukrainian is a plus.
