Crisis centre for human rights in the context of the emergency situation, declared by the government in connection to COVID-19
The Moldovan Institute for Human Rights (IDOM) established a CRISIS CENTRE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE EMERGENCY SITUATION, DECLARED BY THE GOVERNMENT IN CONNECTION TO COVID-19.
The purpose of the Centre is to monitor and prevent human rights violations during this emergency situation in the country. The Crisis Centre will examine the complaints received through phone calls, emails or IDOM’s official Facebook page from anyone who considers to be a victim of human rights violation in the context of Covid-19. Thus, IDOM lawyers will consult and take over for examination (free of charge) cases of human rights violations.
IDOM will carry out analysis of actions and/or inactions taken by the authorities in the field of respecting the fundamental human rights and freedoms.
