America House invites you to a discussion about the differences between the American and Moldovan electoral systems.

The guest speaker, Bob Eckhart, former Fulbright Scholar to Moldova, will offer a comparative perspective on elections, explaining the key differences, such as Moldova's direct presidential voting system compared to the U.S. Electoral College. He will also discuss the challenges both countries faced during the 2020 elections, including the global pandemic, disinformation, and public trust in electoral processes.
