Join America House Chisinau for a session with Jeff Liu, Maddie Mcgrath, and Bartosz Gawarecki, who will share their experience in promoting and engaging in educational training and projects in Moldova.

Jeff, Maddie, and Bartosz are former Peace Corps Volunteers who served in Moldova and created their NGO, The Friends of Moldova, with the mission of supporting Moldovan youth for civic engagement and entrepreneurship.

🌟 About the speakers 🌟

Jeff Liu was sent to the Republic of Moldova with the Peace Corps Small Enterprise Development program. He participated in business advising committees and consulted with mainly environmental non-profits and community development organizations.

Maddie Mcgrath served in Moldova with the Peace Corps Community and Organizational Development program from 2017-2020. She worked with a variety of nonprofits and public institutions to develop fundraising strategies, project planning, and management. She returned home early due to COVID and brought the Peace Corps mentality home with her by volunteering with a variety of community organizations.

Bartosz Gawarecki is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Balti, Moldova from 2015-2018. He assisted in developing an environmental nonprofit and organizing programs for at-risk youth. He started a home care business that helps elderly and disabled refugees.
