System Test Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of our client – a company specialized in developing customized digital platforms, web & app solutions, and cloud services for international businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze system and hardware requirements for testing;
• Create and execute test cases and test scripts for CBTC, ATP, ATO and ATS systems;
• Perform system and subsystem integration testing;
• Work with simulators, laboratory equipment and testing tools;
• Record test results and prepare test reports;
• Identify and report defects and support initial system analysis;
• Work closely with Development, Safety, Verification & Validation teams;
• Support the improvement of testing processes and tools;
• Ensure testing activities comply with relevant railway standards.

Candidate Profile:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field;
• Experience with railway signalling systems such as CBTC, ERTMS, ATO, ATS or Interlocking;
• Experience in system testing of complex or safety-critical systems;
• Experience with embedded systems or SIL 1–4 – mandatory;
• Python scripting experience – mandatory;
• Good knowledge of EN 50716:2023;
• English – fluent; German is an advantage;
• ISTQB certification and knowledge of tools such as IBM ERM/EWM/ETM or SVN are advantages.
